Harden Gold Trail Festival
Once again we are gearing up for another dramatic Harden Gold Trail Event to be held at the Murrumburrah Show ground from 11am on Sunday April 15th.
The feature event in our third Festival will be the re-enactment of a tale from our rich local history, the Battle of Wallendbeen. Expect to see great horsemanship from our local riders, they are truly amazing.
The atmosphere will be lively, with two performances during the day from the Bush Dance Display group from Canberra. The dancers will wear period costume and the music will be provided by a wonderful live folk band. Also in period costume will be two junior award winning buskers.
This year brings the return of the Cobb and Co coach which was such a splendid feature of the first Festival. Also making a welcome return is Vince Wren with his entertaining muzzle loading rifle demonstration.
A popular feature of the day is the Gold Panning. Fun for young and old, come along and try your luck!
This is a great family event with plenty of games, food and a wide variety of stalls. Come along and celebrate our colourful past.
Entry fee is $1 per child/concession, $2 per adult or $5 per family.
